“We just wanted a machine that wouldn’t trip.”

What made it possible was robust design and a preventive maintenance system

Interview with Mr. Manish Nangia, Senior Manajor-Maintenance at Bundy India Ltd.

14 July 2025

Bundy India, a specialized manufacturer in the automotive components, had long struggled with equipment shutdowns and component failures in high-temperature environments—sometimes reach up to 50°C. The site team wanted one thing: a machine that doesn’t trip. In 2016, they turned to our solution. Since then, a combination of high-reliability machine and a structured Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) has transformed their site into a place where uptime is no longer a concern. We spoke with Mr. Manish Nangia, the senior manager who led the implementation, about what changed and why it works.

Before: Summer shutdowns and costly repairs

“We faced a lot of issue due to high ambient tripping in other compressors and also maintenance cost was high .”

Unexpected failures and temperature-related shutdowns had become routine, eating up time, budget, and energy.:

The turning point: Reliable machine + AMC = A smarter way to maintain

With the adoption of our machines, Bundy India also implemented an AMC program with four scheduled inspections per year. This allows their team to monitor equipment conditions and replace parts preemptively—before failure occurs.

“We only replace what’s necessary, when it’s necessary. These machines are inherently reliable, so AMC becomes a truly proactive strategy, not just a checklist.

The result: Maintenance optimized. Uptime maximized.

Emergency responses have been virtually eliminated. Costly overhauls replaced with targeted, minimal maintenance—and above all, confidence in performance.

“It never trip on high Ambient Temperature. And it is low in maintenance cost. We had a peace of mind by using Kobelco compressors.”
